EPL: I work differently – Zidane confirms decision on managing Man Utd

Former France midfielder, Zinedine Zidane, has admitted it is unlikely he will coach Manchester United, stating his reluctance to work in England is a key factor.

Zidane has not coached any team since he left Real Madrid for the second time in 2021.

However, the 52-year-old has been consistently linked with top teams like United, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

Zidane has now revealed he is reluctant to join the Premier League club because of the language barrier.

In an interview with L’Equipe, Zidane said: “Would I want to go to Manchester [United]? I understand English, but I’m not completely fluent in it.

“I know that there are coaches who go to clubs without speaking the language, but I work in a different way.

He added: “Many elements come into play in order to win, it is a global context. I know what I need to win.”

Galatasaray are ready to take Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson if the Blues sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen on a permanent transfer.

This was disclosed by Turkish football expert Serdar Ali Çelikler.

Speaking on the Neo Spor YouTube channel via habersarikirmizi, Ali Çelikler insisted that the Nigeria international is waiting for a move to the English Premier League, EPL, this summer.

“They [Galatasaray ] are also waiting for Osimhen. I think they will wait until August,” Ali Çelikler said.

“Osimhen is not in a hurry and is waiting for a move from England.”

He added, “If Chelsea takes Osimhen, Galatasaray will enter for Nicolas Jackson.

“What I have heard is that if Chelsea gets Osimhen, Galatasaray will also get Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea.”

Osimhen had a spectacular season-long loan at Galatasaray, winning the Turkish Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup after scoring 37 goals in all competitions for the club.

Real Madrid superstar, Kylian Mbappe has identified the club’s former defender Sergio Ramos as his dream captain.

The France forward said Ramos was born to be a captain right from the beginning.

Speaking to Canal Plus, Mbappe said: “My dream captain? Sergio Ramos.

“He [Ramos] has the soul of a captain, he was born to be a captain.

“In the dressing room, the pitch, the aura he has. Even if you don’t give him the armband, the armband will cling onto him,” he said.

Ramos and Mbappe played together as teammates during their time at Paris Saint-Germain in the past.

The pair played a total of 51 games for PSG together for two seasons.

Ramos left PSG for Spanish LaLiga side Sevilla two years ago.

Mbappe, on the other hand, left the reigning UEFA Champions League winner, to join Real Madrid in 2024 on a free transfer after deciding not to extend his deal with the French Ligue 1 champions.
