DONATION OF SECURITY KIT AND T-SHIRTS TO URU IMPROVEMENT UNION
Security they say is a serious business, reason why Uru in Isi Ogwa Community is handling it with all seriousness.

During the joint executive meeting of Uru Improvement Union with the newly appointed chief security officer, and his men chaired by President General of Uru Improvement Union Barr Kenneth Emekowa.

HRH Eze Emeka Ezeudo and Ugoeze Chinyere Obichukwu made more donations of security kitt to Uru security vigilantes.

These items includes industrial touch lights, whistles, shoes and t-shirts for identification of the security men in the community.

This is coming just after few months ago when this same family made donations of security raincoat, torchlights, whistles and ran boots to motivate and encourage the young men whom have taken it upon themselves to secure Uru community for the well-being of the people.

These items were presented to Uru community leaders on behalf of HRH Eze Emeka and Ugoeze Chinyere Obichukwu by Comr Chidiebere Okoroegbe the public relation officer of the community.

Hon Okoroegbe said; this is again coming from the committed and dedicated family who have been showing true love for Uru community and her devolpment.

He further stated HRH Eze Emeka and Ugoeze Chinyere Obichukwu made this donations in order to encourage the security men and motivate them in discharging of their duties.

Receiving these items, President General of Uru Improvement Union Hon Barr Kenneth Emekowa expressed gratitude for the love, commitment and patriotic spirit of Eze Udo and his wife Ugoeze Chinyere Obichukwu.

Barr Kenneth equally called for more of such support and encouragement from other illustrious sons and daughters of Uru community.
President General Hon Emekowa charged the youths and the new chief security officer of Uru community Mr Goddy Ubowurubo to show commitment in securing the community and ensure that hoodlums and other security threats in the community will fastily be things of the past.
Brr Kenneth Emekowa mentioned that youths who were incorporated into the security team of Uru community were drawn from the youth wing of Uru community and emphasised that it is a constitutional duty of the community for the youths to assist in securing the community.
In addition, Comr Chidiebere Okoroegbe also presented printed face cap and t-shirts with description “I Love Uru” to the President General Brr. Kenneth Emekowa which were donated by HRH Eze Emeka and Ugoeze Chinyere Obichukwu.
Brr. Kenneth in acknowledgement stated that these t-shirts is not just for donation sake but rather an act of love worth emulating by all sons and daughters of Uru community.
He continued; this simply signifies their love for Uru community and as well suing for unity and peace in Uru community.
Brr. Kenneth Emekowa used the t-shirts as symbol of expression to inform Uru people that his administration is suing for unity and peace. This gesture is a demonstration of love,unity and peace.
He further said the family of HRH Eze Emeka and Ugoeze Chinyere Obichukwu want peace to reign supreme in Uru community. That’s the significant of donation of these t-shirts. By launching of these t-shirts by the leadership of Uru community, we are welcoming peace,love and unity in Uru community for the well-being of the people. All other items donated by HRH Eze Emeka and Ugoeze Chinyere Obichukwu are well acknowledged and received with thanks.
Brr. Kenneth Emekowa, graciously thanked the couple on behalf of the community for their generosity towards Uru community, as he called for general embracing of peace,unity and progress of Uru community.

EID-EL-FITR: IGP DISU FELICITATES MUSLIM FAITHFUL, ORDERS NATIONWIDE DEPLOYMENT OF TACTICAL ASSETS
The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim faithful across Nigeria on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
In furtherance of his commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment during the festive period, the Inspector-General has directed Commissioners of Police and Tactical Commanders across all states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory to implement robust security arrangements.
Operational measures include:
Strategic deployment of tactical teams and intelligence operatives.

Deployment of the Special Intervention Squad and conventional police personnel to Eid prayer grounds and critical infrastructure.
Increased presence at highways, motor parks, recreational centers, and other public spaces to ensure peaceful, hitch-free celebrations.
The IGP has also ordered heightened visibility policing, coordinated patrols, enhanced surveillance operations, and intelligence-led stop-and-search duties. These actions are aimed at proactively deterring criminal activities and ensuring a swift response to any emerging threats.
IGP Disu calls on members of the public to remain vigilant, cooperate with law enforcement agencies, and promptly report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station or through the following emergency lines:
