The office of Distinguished Senator (Engr.) Patrick C. Ndubueze has reeled out efforts so far in continuing to set an unprecedented benchmark in service, particularly through facilitating pensionable Federal Government employment opportunities for sons and daughters across Imo North Senatorial District.

Through strategic partnerships, relentless advocacy, and effective representation at the national level, numerous constituents from the six local government areas of the district have secured meaningful employment in critical federal institutions.

One of the notable achievements is the successful recruitment of constituents into the National Steel Council. Two individuals, Keke Elvis Nnaeme from Amainyi in Ihitte Uboma LGA and Maduabuchi Ngozi Genevieve from Umualumoke in Okigwe LGA, have joined the agency’s workforce. More placements are expected in the coming months as engagements continue.

Similarly, Senator Ndubueze facilitated the employment of a daughter of the district in the National Assembly Service Commission. Onyeakaonwu Justina Nnenna from Amuro, Okigwe LGA, now serves in this prestigious federal institution, benefiting from a pensionable appointment that guarantees long-term career growth.

In addition, the National Steel Raw Materials Exploration Agency has absorbed three beneficiaries from the district. They include Ike Phubian Nneka from Umukabia in Ehime Mbano LGA, Eboh Emeka Christopher from Aku in Okigwe LGA, and Onyemelusi Gabriel C. Another constituent is expected to join the agency soon, increasing the total number to four.

Significant progress was also recorded in the Nigerian Police Force, where five constituents have been recruited through the senator’s intervention. Those enlisted include Akubuike Chinaemerem Patrick and Oti Nzubechi Marcellus, both from Ugwaku in Okigwe LGA; Anyanwu Deborah from Ikperejere in Ihitte Uboma LGA; Obialor Chinemerem Mirian from Umualoma/Umualumoke in Okigwe LGA; and Onyejide Elizabeth Ahunna from Ezinachi, Okigwe LGA.

The Federal University Teaching Hospital, Owerri (formerly FMC), has also benefited from the senator’s outreach. Dr. Loveth Chiebuka Onwuegbu from Umunumo in Ehime Mbano LGA has been employed in the institution. Discussions are ongoing to secure additional permanent and internship slots for more constituents.

In the academic sector, the University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Umuagwo, welcomed new staff members through Senator Ndubueze’s efforts. Beneficiaries include Ojiridike Ibe Steve and Egbulonu Uche, both from Okigwe LGA, along with Dr. Irene Onwuegbute from Isiala Mbano.

The senator equally facilitated recruitment into the Nigerian Navy. Uche Bunny Chinua from Onuimo LGA successfully enlisted, while another candidate, Wilson David Eyo, also gained entry through the senator’s support, receiving a favorable posting. However, one constituent, Collins Clinton Ifeanyi, was disqualified at the final stage of recruitment due to health-related issues.

In the Nigerian Army, one constituent, Dominic Chijindu Franklin, secured recruitment through the senator’s intervention. Despite these successes, Senator Ndubueze has expressed concerns over the declining interest of constituents in joining the military, even with available opportunities and widespread awareness created through constituency offices.

Beyond security and civil employment, the senator facilitated the appointment of five constituents as Senior Legislative Aides to top federal lawmakers, including the Senate President, Deputy Senate President, and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. These appointments reflect his dedication to inclusive representation and youth empowerment.

His office has also consistently issued recommendation letters to qualified constituents seeking employment, training opportunities, or appointments. Feedback indicates that many of these recommendations have translated into positive outcomes, further affirming the senator’s open-door policy and commitment to accessible governance.

Another outstanding achievement is the facilitation of promotions for fifteen constituents serving in the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). These promotions have elevated their professional status and improved their welfare.

Senator Ndubueze emphasized that these employment opportunities not only provide job security and dignity but also establish a foundation for sustainable livelihoods and long-term development across families in the senatorial district. He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to expanding access to federal opportunities and ensuring that Imo North receives its equitable share in national development.

In conclusion, he assured constituents that his office will continue to actively engage with federal institutions, lobby for more employment slots, and work towards building a brighter future for all communities across the district.
