The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ngor-Okpala State Constituency has condemned the All Progressives Congress (APC) for inaugurating a health centre project, describing it as a “cheap political stunt” aimed at distracting the people from years of neglect under the current administration.

According to the ADC, the project is a last-ditch effort to hoodwink the people into believing the government has their best interests at heart. The party argues that the people of Ngor-Okpala deserve more than token projects built at the eleventh hour and instead need a government committed to sustainable development, good governance, and the welfare of its people.

The ADC’s Publicity Secretary, Hon. Victor Obinna, stated that the party remains committed to providing a credible alternative, one that will genuinely serve the people and address their needs without political gimmicks.

He urged all Ngor-Okpala constituents to be vigilant and not be swayed by desperate maneuvers, emphasizing that the real task ahead is to massively vote out the APC at all levels of government and usher in a new era of progress and accountability.

The ADC’s criticism comes amid growing discontent among residents over the lack of meaningful development in Ngor-Okpala. Despite being represented by Hon. Obinna Egu in the Imo State House of Assembly, the community has reportedly been starved of basic amenities and infrastructure, with roads in disrepair, schools underfunded, and a healthcare system in decay.

The ADC is calling on citizens to join hands with the party to liberate Ngor-Okpala and Imo State from bad governance. With the winds of change blowing strongly, the party believes that together, they can bring about the change they so desperately need.
