Add Baba Ijesha To S*x Offender Register – Princess Tells Lagos Govt

Published

on

Damilola Adekoya, the Nigerian comedienne and actress, who is popularly known as Princess, has responded to the release of actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, calling on the Lagos State government and the Department of Justice to ensure his name is added to the s*x offender register.

Princess made the appeal during a live Instagram session on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

She said, “I want to urge Lagos State Government, the Department of Justice, to please publish his name in the s*x offenders register,” adding that she would be waiting for an update on the matter.

Addressing claims that Baba Ijesha was pardoned, Princess clarified that the actor was released after serving his full prison term.

She stated, “No matter how much it hurt me, I have not hoarded any information; Baba Ijesha is now a convict… nobody freed him.”

She expressed relief that schools, hostels, landlords, and the public are now aware of his crimes.

Before the live stream, Princess posted a video in which she appeared as a caricature of herself, raising awareness on child abuse.

In the video, she said, “Hi, my name is Princess, and I believe that children should be loved, protected, and provided for. If you know any child who has been abused mentally, physically, or s*xually, please DM me at Princess Damilola Foundation on Instagram. Thank you, we need to look out for ourselves.”

Baba Ijesha was reportedly released from prison following a Court of Appeal judgment that overturned his conviction for the s*xual assault of a minor.

News of his release was first shared on social media by actor Yomi Fabiyi on Friday, who posted six points on the case, captioning it: “You are now officially FREE AND OUT. Baba Ijesha is not just back but BETTER.”

An unverified viral video on Saturday showed Baba Ijesha sitting in a vehicle shortly after his release, expressing relief and saying he needed rest.

Baba Ijesha was accused by Princess of s*xually abusing her 14-year-old foster daughter.

Footage from the CCTV she reportedly installed captured him allegedly touching and fondling the minor.

In July 2022, a Lagos court sentenced him to 16 years in prison after finding him guilty on multiple counts, including indecent treatment of a child and s*xual assault.

Attempts to reach Baba Ijesha for comment were unsuccessful at the time of filing this report. Efforts to also contact Fabiyi to reach Baba Ijesha did not yield results, while calls and messages to Princess went unanswered, as her phone was switched off.

Actress Doris Ogala doubles down on claims against Pastor Chris Okafor, insists on compensation or marriage

Published

Actress Doris Ogala has intensified her allegations against Pastor Chris Okafor, insisting she was in a long-term relationship with him from 2017 and was promised marriage.

Speaking emotionally, Doris claimed she supported the pastor privately, bought gifts for his children, and stayed loyal for years, only to be abandoned when he decided to marry someone else.

She accused those online, including Dee One, of taking money to do “damage control,” stressing that her demands are legal, not blackmail. According to her, she is seeking compensation for emotional damage, career loss, and broken promises, adding that her lawyer is already preparing formal demands.

Doris also admitted to phone-based intimacy during her troubled marriage but denied any physical affair at the time. She maintained she has evidence to back her claims and alleged she is not the only woman Pastor Chris promised marriage.

“I’m not backing down. This is my right,” she said, warning that she is ready to speak fully if pushed further.
