singer, Celine Dion has admitted she is ‘determined’ to get back on stage and perform again amid her battle with stiff person syndrome.

The hitmaker, 55, candidly opened up about her struggle with the disorder and revealed it is ‘one of the hardest experience’ of her life as she marked Stiff Person Syndrome Awareness Day on Friday.

In the caption of the photo, Celine on Instagram, ‘Today the world recognizes International SPS Awareness Day.’

 

‘As many of you know, in the fall of 2022, I was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS),’ she continued.

‘Trying to overcome this autoimmune disorder has been one of the hardest experiences of my life, but I remain determined to one day get back onto the stage and to live as normal of a life as possible.’

The star then expressed, ‘I am deeply grateful for the love and support from my kids, family, team and all of you!’

 

‘I want to send my encouragement and support to all those around the world that have been affected by SPS. I want you to know you can do it! We can do it! Love Celine xx…,’ Dion concluded.

The songstress shares her three boys, twins Eddy and Nelson, 13, as well as her eldest son Rene-Charles Angelil, 23, with late husband and music producer, Rene Angelil – who passed away in 2016 following a battle with throat cancer.

Legendary Nigerian musician, Innocent Idibia, also known as 2Face, has revealed that it is not possible for him to be sexually committed to only one woman.

The singer stated this five months after he announced his separation from wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia.

The shocking development generated controversy on social media, especially among his fellow celebrities.

A few days after the divorce announcement, 2Face flaunted his new lover, Natasha Osawuru on the internet.

However, speaking in his latest interview with the media personality, Nedu, 2Face noted that it’s impossible for him to be with one woman sexually.

Nedu asked: “Is it possible to be loyal and be 2Face? Is it possible to be a loyal man to a woman?

“I have said this a couple of days ago, and I got into trouble for it but I didn’t care about that. Man no fits, I don’t know ooo but let me talk for my own self. I no go talk about other men.

“A man is not built to sexually be with one woman. Man can give his heart and love to one woman, but it’s impossible for a man to sexually be with one woman”.

DAILY POST reports that before their separation, Annie had severally accused the singer of infidelity. She revealed that the singer has five kids with other women outside their marriage.

Nigerian music icon 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) has finally addressed his split from his longtime partner and actress, Annie Idibia, during a recent podcast with Nedu and co-hosts.

When asked about what went wrong in their marriage and if he could point out anything he might have done differently, 2Baba remained respectful and guarded but sincere.

“I think both of us, we gave it our best,” he said.
“Why we’re not together today, it’s not something I’m going to start talking about here in the public. Me and her, we get our understanding. She’s amazing, like I said earlier. It just wasn’t working no more. That’s just it.”

Davido makes me feel broke – Young John

Nigerian singer, Young John has said his colleague, Davido, makes him feel intimidated financially.

The ‘Go Hard Or Go Home’ crooner revealed this while responding to a question during a sideline interview at the Paris Fashion Week in France.

He explained that OBO’s success also inspires him to work harder.

Interviewer: “Ever met someone that made you feel broke?”

Young John: “Too many times, bro. Davido. Whenever I see his money, I’m like, I need to work hard and drop more songs.”

In 2024, Young John revealed that he never planned on becoming an artist, explaining that he became a singer by accident.

Young John started his career as a producer with Olamide’s YBNL Nation and produced multiple hit songs for Lil Kesh, Olamide himself and other artists on the label.
