Veteran Nigerian entertainer, Charly Boy has slammed Sheikh Ahmed Gumi for suggesting that negotiating with bandits, rather than confronting them, is the solution to insecurity.

In a video shared by Charly Boy, whose real name is Charles Oputa, Gumi is seen speaking about bandits.

The Islamic cleric from Northern Nigeria stated that the US attacking bandits will only lead to more chaos.

He said attacking bandits will be a “mistake”.

He suggested instead that bandits should be listened to, negotiated with, and included in the budget.
