Abiba Ibrahim, has taken to Facebook to seek help in locating her husband, Luqman Jajah, who she claimed blocked her and disappeared for weeks after a little misunderstanding.

According to Abiba, the misunderstanding stemmed from her desire to meet his family.

This Ghanaian woman, Abiba claimed she has never met his family because they got married in absentia while she was working outside the country.

Upon his request, she returned to Ghana after the marriage and he rented an apartment for her in the Ablekuma Canada area of Accra.

“Guys, please help me. My husband has been missing for weeks now and he blocked me. This happened because I asked him to take me to meet his family members and we had a little misunderstanding. So, he blocked me. We got married when I was working outside the country, and after the marriage, he asked me to come back to Ghana and stay with him. I agreed,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday, December 18.

“He rented an apartment for me at Ablekuma Canada. Later, he told me to inform my family so that his family could come and celebrate with me. This coming Ramadan will be our one-year anniversary, but I have never met his family members. Guys, please help me find him. His name is Luqman Jajah. If he doesn’t want the marriage, he should come and divorce me and get out.”

Meanwhile, one Nana Sei, who commented on the post claimed that Luqman is married to a Nigerian woman and lives in another part of Accra.

“He is the brother of the dep minister of tourism. And MP for ayawaso. Yes his family house is in maamobi. He is married with kids with a Nigerian lady. If ur story is true just go and see the dept. Minister of tourism,” he wrote.

Popular TikToker Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, on Friday issued a public apologised over a viral video showing him driving recklessly and crashing his vehicle during a live-stream.

In a video shared on Instagram, Peller posted with the caption, “I’m sorry, Nigeria, please I’m sorry. I will never do that again. I am very sorry. For now, I am on medication. Once I’m done with my medication, I will be online.”

In the video, he said, “I let emotion get to me. That’s why I do that. I’m very sorry. Please, please. You can comment anything against me, but please, I’m sorry. I’m very sorry. I don’t do it intentionally. Please. Please, guys. Please forgive me. I’m very sorry. Please, don’t bully Jarvis. Leave her. She is not concerned. It’s me.”

The apology follows a widely shared incident on Sunday, December 14, 2025, when Peller livestreamed himself driving recklessly along the Lekki‑Epe Expressway in Lagos.

During the livestream, he threatened to crash his vehicle in what many described as an attempted suicide, before losing control and smashing his newly purchased Mercedes‑Benz into a stone barrier.

Bystanders at the scene helped convey him to a hospital, and the extent of his injuries was unclear at the time.

The crash sparked public outrage due to the danger it posed to both the influencer and other road users.

Reacting, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said the incident exposed the dangers of distracted and reckless driving, particularly involving live streaming or content creation.

The FRSC’s Corps Marshal warned that such behaviour not only violates traffic laws but also undermines national road safety efforts, directing that prosecution should begin for offences including reckless driving, use of a phone while driving, and distracted driving.

Also, on Tuesday, the Lagos State Police Command announced Peller’s arrest and detention for further investigation, describing his conduct as extremely dangerous and capable of causing fatal consequences for himself and other road users.

Police described the incident as a “deliberate attempt to commit suicide” and warned against using social media platforms to engage in reckless or unlawful acts.

The case has since been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for a comprehensive probe, and Peller is expected to face prosecution by the Federal Road Safety Corps.

The episode has reignited public discourse on the growing trend of risky stunts by influencers and content creators chasing online engagement, with many Nigerians urging stricter enforcement of road safety laws and greater awareness of mental health issues among young public figures.

Fatima Buhari, daughter of late former President Muhammadu Buhari, has disclosed that official documents bearing forged signatures of her father circulated during his presidency.

The revelation was made in ‘From Soldier to Statesman: The Legacy of Muhammadu Buhari’, a biography authored by Charles Omole.

According to the book, Fatima, who works as a forensic auditor, examined several official documents and discovered instances where signatures had been fraudulently appended in her father’s name.

She reportedly brought the falsified documents to her father’s attention, showing him specific examples of the fake signatures.

The biography indicates that Fatima was not alone in raising concerns about signature forgery, noting that other individuals had similarly flagged the issue with the then-president.

However, Fatima emphasised that the practice of forging presidential signatures was not exclusive to her father’s administration, pointing out that previous governments had encountered comparable challenges with document authenticity.

The disclosure raises questions about the integrity of official documentation processes during the Buhari presidency and the mechanisms in place to prevent such forgeries from being perpetrated on official government paperwork.
