Europa Conference League Final: Collymore predicts winner of Man Utd vs Tottenham

Published

on

Stan Collymore, a former Liverpool star, has predicted the winner of the UEFA Europa League final between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

Manchester United will tackle Tottenham in the Europa League final at San Mamés, Bilbao on May 21.

The Red Devils had defeated Athletic Club in the semi-final, while Spurs knocked out Bodø/Glimt from the competition.

Tottenham had won the last three meetings against Man United this season.

However, Collymore believes Tottenham will beat United in the Europa League final.

“I can see both finals going to extra time. In the Europa League, I could very easily see it ending 2-2 or 3-3 after 90 minutes because there is so much uncertainty surrounding how Tottenham and Man United will perform in Bilbao,” Collymore told CaughtOffside.

“It could very much be a toss of a coin for who win – but if I stick my neck out, I think Tottenham will take it because they have got the better of Man United in the previous three meetings this season.”

The kick-off time for the match is 8 p.m.

Osimhen spent the whole of last season with Galatasaray, helping them win the title and League Cup.

Amid a lack of interest from Europe’s top teams, Osimhen now wants to make the move permanent.

Galatasaray’s push to secure the Super Eagles striker has reportedly attracted significant backing from club sponsors.

Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has told Noni Madueke that he is free to leave the Premier League club this summer.

Arsenal are believed to hold an interest in adding Madueke to their squad.

The Gunners have reportedly initiated fresh round of transfer talks, with Chelsea valuing the 23-year-old at £50 million.

Madueke only moved to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2023 and has a contract with the club until 2030.

However, Jamie Gittens’ arrival from Borussia Dortmund could now lead to Madueke’s exit.

Speaking to reporters, Maresca said: “Noni has been very important for us during this season. Today, again, he has been important.

“But my message to the players and to the club is that I want just players that are happy to be with us. The ones that are not happy, they are free to go.”
