Here are the details of the divorce and lawsuit filed by Kayode Olarenwaju

Kayode Olarenwaju filed a divorce suit against his estranged wife Ezinne.

He filed a cross-petition urging the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Abuja to dissolve his marriage to Ezinne because it has broken down irretrievably.

He is also seeking custody of the three children from his union with Ezinne.

Olarenwaju is seeking ₦1 billion in damages from UK-based pastor Tobi Adegboyega.

He accused Adegboyega of causing him emotional trauma, financial loss and loss of goodwill through his “adulterous affair” with Ezinne.

Ezinne is also accused of planning to take over all his landed properties.

Ezinne didn’t take the accusations lightly and decided to take legal action against the footballer.

Ezinne in the suit dated March 20, 2024, accused her estranged husband of making baseless allegations of infidelity and witchcraft against her and her mother.

She also said that Kayode damaged her phone in the process and, in one of her videos on Instagram, alleged that the striker threatened her with a knife during one of their fights.
