Nigerian singers, Burna Boy, Olamide, Seyi Vibez, Asake make Barack Obama’s annual summer playlist
Former U.S. President Barack Obama has released his Summer playlist of 30 songs for the year 2025, with Nigerian singers Burna Boy, Olamide, Seyi Vibez and Young John on the list.
In his caption on X, he wrote: “As 2025 comes to a close, I’m continuing a tradition that I started during my time in the White House: sharing my annual lists of favorite music. I hope you find something new to enjoy—and please send any recommendations for me to check out!.””
Burna Boy made it to the list with his 2025 song “TaTaTa” ft American rapper Travis Scott from his new album, ‘No Sign of Weakness.’ While Olamide made it to the list with his song “99” ft. Seyi Vibez, Asake, Young Jonn & Daecolm from his new album, Olamidé.

BBNaija star, Queen Mercy Atang recounted her experience after she survived a POP disaster in her apartment.
According to her, the POP gave way suddenly in the morning, but luckily, her sister and nanny were awake and were able to escape the damage.
She added that the incident was the second, after the POP in her garage fell few weeks earlier.

Carter Efe Boasts of Widespread Stream after Davido’s Appearance
Nigerian content creator, Carter Efe has broken record to become Africa’s most followed Twitch streamer, after a viral livestream with Davido.
This occurred on Wednesday after he hosted Davido on a three-hour livestream. By the end of the session, Carter had gained 139,000 new followers in one night.
Many praised Davido for his free spirit and his contribution in helping Carter secure an ambassadorship during the livestream.

Priscilla Pranks Mother with Notice of Juma’s Canceled Show
Celebrity couple, Priscilla and Juma visited Pulse Nigeria for an interview. During the course of the interview, Priscilla was told to prank her mother by pretending her husband’s show was canceled.
Iyabo Ojo reacted by screaming and asked about people who had purchased tickets already. Priscilla eventually revealed to her that it was a prank, and Iyabo joked about her daughter giving her high blood pressure.
Juma’s show is scheduled to hold in Nigeria this December, however the date has remained undisclosed.
