Trump Posts AI Video Of Obama Being Arrested After Explosive Coup Allegation, Calls For Ex-President’s Arrest

In addition to the AI video, Trump also posted doctored mugshots of Obama-era cabinet members and demanded the arrest of Senator Adam Schiff.

United States Donald Trump has subtly called for the arrest of former president Barack Obama after posting an AI-generated video showing the former president in handcuffs — shortly after Tulsi Gabbard accused the Obama administration of leading a “years-long coup” against him.

The video, shared on Trump’s Truth Social platform on Sunday, begins with Obama saying, “no one is above the law,” before he is handcuffed by law enforcement during an Oval Office meeting with Trump.

The clip, soundtracked by the Village People’s “YMCA,” ends with Obama wearing an orange jumpsuit in a federal prison. It was digitally altered from footage of their actual meeting in November 2016, when Trump was still a president-elect.

The post came hours after Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, told Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures: “Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people and enact what was essentially a years-long coup with the objective of trying to usurp the president from fulfilling the mandate bestowed upon him by the American people.”

She announced she had referred former Obama officials, including ex-FBI director James Comey and ex-DNI James Clapper, to the Justice Department, alleging they “manufactured” intelligence to support claims of Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Trump reacted swiftly, posting: “Great job by young and talented Harrison Fields on FoxNews. The Panel was fantastic on prosecuting Obama and the ‘thugs’ who have just been unequivocally exposed on highest level Election Fraud. Congratulations to Tulsi Gabbard. Keep it coming!!!”

In addition to the AI video, Trump also posted doctored mugshots of Obama-era cabinet members and demanded the arrest of Senator Adam Schiff.

In another post, Trump said, “In the months leading up to the November 2016 election, the Intelligence Community agreed that there was no Intelligence that reflected that Russia was trying to hack the election…

“So it was very striking when we look back at the documents that I declassified and released that show there was a shift in early December…”

The flurry of posts comes amid criticism of Trump’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case. His administration recently claimed no Epstein “client list” exists and reiterated that the financier died by suicide — angering even some of Trump’s supporters.

Senator Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, blasted Gabbard’s claims on X: “It is sadly not surprising that DNI Gabbard, who promised to depoliticise the intelligence community, is once again weaponising her position to amplify the president’s election conspiracy theories.”

He added: “It is appalling to hear DNI Gabbard accuse her own IC workforce of committing a ‘treasonous conspiracy’ when she was unwilling to label Edward Snowden a traitor.”

Alleged N2.2bn fraud: Ngige to remain in Kuje Prison till December 18

Published

Justice Maryam Aliyu Hassan of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory sitting at Gwarimpa in Abuja has ordered that former Minister of Labour, Dr Chris Ngige, be kept at Kuje prison till December 18.

Ngige will be on remand till the date when his bail application would be decided by the court.

Justice Hassan issued the order on Monday shortly after taking arguments for and against the bail request of the former governor of Anambra State.

Ngige’s lawyer, Patrick Ikwueto, SAN, pleaded with the judge to admit the former minister to bail, mainly on health ground.

He submitted that the former minister would not jump bail or interfere with witnesses if admitted to bail.

However, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, represented by Sylvanus Tahir, SAN, vehemently opposed the bail request, insisting that Ngige was a flight risk.

Tahir told the judge that Ngige was granted administrative bail by the EFCC and allowed to travel abroad for medical care but never reported back to the Commission.

Besides, he said that the international passport released to Ngige; to facilitate the abroad trip was never returned till today.

The senior lawyer argued that it was when Ngige was re-arrested that he came up with a purported claim that he lost his passport.

He insisted that the claim of passport loss was an afterthought and should not be believed by the court.

After the submissions, Justice Hassan fixed December 18 to deliver ruling in the bail request.

Ngige was last Friday slammed with an eight-count charge bordering on corrupt practices.
