The Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, has continued to receive commendations for his sponsorship of over 1000 Christians to the 2025 Pilgrimage in Israel.

The Deputy Minority Leader in the Imo State House Of Assembly, Hon Chief Sir Clinton Amadi, has extended his gratitude to Governor Uzodimma for his thoughtfulness to approve the sponsorship of Imo citizens to Israel, in the 2025 Pilgrimage.

Hon Clinton Amadi, who is the Member Representing Owerri Municipal State Constituency, in a Press Statement he personally signed, described Governor Uzodimma as a leader who has matched his promised words with actions, noting that the Imo State Government has magnanimously deemed it necessary to sponsor Imo Christians in the once in a life time Pilgrimage to the Holy land.

In his words, Hon Clinton Amadi, who is also the House Committee Chairman On Digital Economy And E-Government, said, *”I am impressed, my Constituents are happy, out of over 1000 persons that partook to the pilgrimage, a very good number came from Owerri Municipal State Constituency. Not long ago, this same Governor sponsored Muslims to the 2025 Hajj. It therefore means we have a detribalized leader in Hope Uzodimma. The beauty of this sponsorship is that the Imo State Government ensured both Christians and Muslims who went to the Holy Lands took off from the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Owerri, thereby distinguishing and showcasing the Airport’s Night Landing facilities as being effective and working”.*

Hon Clinton Amadi, who is the Alaomajijiji of Owerri Nchi-ise, further said the action of the Governor is a clear indication that he promotes National and Spiritual Healing, as well as Religious Harmony, National Unity and one who is truly committed to the Moral well-being of the people of the State, particularly, the people of Owerri Municipal State Constituency.

*”This is, indeed, a clear holistic approach to both leadership and governance, as our spiritual, physical, political and economic growths have been uplifted, as the needs and heart desires of the good people of Owerri Municipal, Imo Sate and Nigeria were handed over in prayers to God to heal our land and make it more fertile for us to enjoy”,* the Deputy Minority Leader concluded.
