The Anambra State Government discovered that
59 dead individuals and 40 retired staff are still receiving salaries.

427 “ghost workers” were found on the list without a valid employment status.
44 individuals were found to be employed with forged educational credentials.
Several Deputy Directors and local government Treasurers were dismissed for possessing fraudulent certificates.
