Abroad returnee macheted to d3ath by his childhood friend during housewarming party in Edo
The Edo State Police Command has arrested one Amadin Williams for the alleged m8rder of his childhood friend, Eghosa Osas, in Oben community, Ikpoba-Okah Local Government Area of the state.
The spokesperson of the command, Eno Ikoedem, who confirmed the arrest on Sunday, December 28, 2025 said that the suspect would be charged to court once investigations are concluded.
According to sources, the 43-year-old Osas had returned from abroad with his family to celebrate Christmas.
He was reportedly attacked and k!lled during a housewarming party.
Following the attack, the suspect fled the community, raising suspicion among residents.
He was later tracked and arrested in Benin City, where he was said to be hiding.
