– Registration Requirements: To register, ADA needs to meet INEC’s guidelines, which include:

– Letter of Intent :  ADA has already submitted a letter of intent, a crucial first step.

– Formal Application: The party has also submitted a formal application with required documents, such as its constitution, manifesto, proof of office location, and membership register.

– Membership Requirements: ADA’s membership must reflect federal character, with members from at least 24 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

– INEC’s Response: INEC has acknowledged receipt of ADA’s application but hasn’t registered the party yet. The commission emphasizes that meeting the criteria and submitting documents is necessary for registration.

– Potential Challenges: ADA might face challenges if its application is incomplete or doesn’t meet INEC’s requirements. The commission has warned that submitting false information or duplicate applications can lead to disqualification.
