ADC Calls for Recognition of Authentic LGA Chairmen in Imo State Coalition

Hon. Success Opara, Chairman of ADC Owerri Municipal LGA, has urged coalition partners in Imo State to work with genuine LGA chairmen who are true party faithfuls, rather than just focusing on State Chairman James Okoroma. Opara emphasized the importance of collaborating with real party organ members, citing the party’s relevance and dynamics.

According to Opara, the ADC demonstrated significant strength in the 2023 local government elections, even outperforming the ruling APC in some areas. He attributed this success to the party’s ability to feature all aspirants in the election, showcasing its majority presence in party structure and relevance.

Opara also advised aspirants and candidates for the upcoming election to conduct themselves properly and avoid hijacking the process. He stressed that this would promote good harmonization, progress, and development, ultimately strengthening the party in Nigeria and abroad.
