Iliman Ndiaye scored the only goal of the game in the first half of the match.
In the second match of the day, Morocco beat Cameroon 2-0 to progress into the semi-final.
Brahim Diaz and Ismael Saibair scored for the hosts.
Senegal will face the winner of the Burkina Faso vs Egypt clash, while Morocco will take on the winner of the Nigeria vs Algeria game.
