AGAIN TRUCK CRASHES IN IMO
There was apprehension earlier yesterday being Sunday, 24th November, 2024 as a Truck loaded with chippings crashed at Express Roundabout in Okigwe town, Imo State.
Ekwutosblog gathered that the heavy duty vehicle which was conveying chippings from Amasiri in Ebonyi State lost control as it was approaching the Express Roundabout and subsequently had a head-on collision with another stationary vehicle parked within the Express Junction in Okigwe.
It was learnt that no life was lost in the incident.
This incident has again raised serious concerns over the rampant operation of Trucks along the busy Owerri Road in Okigwe LGA and the urgent need for Authorities to stop heavy duty vehicles from plying the road in the day time to avert tragedies.
