Anambra state ministry of women affairs and social welfare grants justice to a woman who was accused of killiπg her husband.
Mrs Benedette Ume Ezeoke was accused of killing her husband. Her husband’s family deprived her access to her husband’s properties and even started selling some of the properties.
She mentioned that her husband’s family even refused to bury her late husband until she does some certain things. According to her, they even threatened her life. She brought the case to Anambra state ministry of women affairs and social welfare and the ministry responded swiftly.
The ministry has now authorized her husband’s family to release her husband’s corpse to bury for burial and return her husband’s properties.The ministry also warned the family not to assault her or harm her else they will face the law.
