BREAKING!!! APC Appoints New Acting National Chairman (Photo)
The All Progressives Congress, APC, has appointed Alhaji Dalori as the New Acting National chairman of APC.
Ekwutosblog had reported that the former chairman of the party, Abdullahi Ganduje, has resigned from his position on Friday.

According to sources who spoke with Ekwutosblog ,” Ganduje was forced to resign following his inability to handle FCT Area Council elections primaries for APC.”
The source added “the obvious and ridiculous outing in Bwari Area Council Chairmanship primary election of the party was the height of disgrace.”
“Where the DPO noticeably chased other Aspirants away leaving only one Hon. Joshua Musa Ishaku who was a stooge of PDp and who had not supported Tinubu in the 2023 presidential primaries.”
Another said the move, it is understood follows intense pressure from stakeholders within the APC, especially from the North Central zone, who have repeatedly called for the chairmanship position to return to their region. Ganduje’s expected resignation also comes amid mounting internal opposition over his leadership style and the party’s internal power dynamics.
Ganduje, who assumed office in August 2023 following the resignation of Abdullahi Adamu, has faced sustained agitation from North Central leaders who argue that their region deserves to produce the next party chairman.
In what appears to be a calculated political compromise, the APC is reportedly planning to appoint one of its current national vice chairmen as acting chairman until a new substantive leader is elected at the party’s national convention scheduled for December.
Sources close to the APC National Working Committee revealed that Ganduje, a former governor of Kano State, was persuaded to step aside as part of broader efforts to stabilise the party and strengthen its unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.

2027: Bala declares aspirants over 55 years disqualified in ADC
The factional National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Nafiu Bala Gombe, has announced that the party under his leadership will bar individuals above the age of 55 from contesting for political positions.
