Former Inspector-General of Police Solomon Arase has reportedly died at Cedarcrest Hospital in Abuja.

Solomon Arase served as Nigeria’s 18th Inspector-General of Police from April 2015 to June 2016. After his retirement, he went on to serve as Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC) from January 2023 until his removal in June 2024 by President Bola Tinubu.
