BREAKING!!! Girlfriend Allegedly Pours AC!D On Her Boyfriend In Abakaliki

Abakaliki, Ebonyi State – A shocking incident of domestic violence has rocked the community as a young man’s girlfriend allegedly poured acid on him in the early hours of Thursday, October 24, 2025.

According to an eyewitness who told Ekwutosblog that the disturbing incident occurred opposite Tycoon Filling Station in Abakaliki. The victim was quickly rushed to the Federal Teaching Hospital (FETHA 1) where he is currently receiving urgent medical attention. His condition remains critical.

The suspect, identified as the victim’s girlfriend, is still at large, and authorities have yet to release an official statement. However, residents have expressed outrage and called for justice, urging the authorities to apprehend the perpetrator.

This heartbreaking incident adds to the growing concern over rising cases of violent relationships across Nigeria. Many social commentators are urging young people to walk away from toxic relationships before they turn tragic.
