21 out of the 23 LG chairmen in the state called on President Tinubu to intervene while applauding Rivers APC for calling for the impeachment of Governor Sim Fubara.
The LG Chairmen said Governor Sim withheld allocation of the LGAs since April and has also refused to convene the Joint Account Allocation Committee Meeting (JAAC) which is the prerequisite for the release and disbursement of funds between the state and LGAs.
