In a shocking move, President Bola Tinubu has ordered a combined team of security agencies to invade the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) headquarters in Abuja. This development comes just hours after the NLC’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, where members condemned the government’s harsh treatment of #EndBadGovernance activists.

According to Sahara Reporters, the security operatives arrived at the NLC headquarters in the early hours of the morning, causing tension among staff and visitors. The invasion is seen as a blatant attempt to intimidate and suppress the NLC’s vocal criticism of the government’s handling of the ongoing protests.

The NLC has been a vocal supporter of the #EndBadGovernance movement, which seeks to address issues of corruption, unemployment, and insecurity in the country. This latest move by the government is likely to escalate tensions and raise concerns about the erosion of civil liberties in Nigeria.

Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
