Davido and his Daughter Imade

Davido has conceded the custody battle for his daughter Imade, telling her mother Sophia Momodu ‘you can have her’.

The singer clarified that he only wanted joint custody, not sole custody, and accused Momodu of using his son’s death to constantly remind him of the tragedy.

The development comes after a court appearance in Lagos, where Momodu alleged that Davido was unfit to care for their daughter due to his controversial lifestyle and unavailability.

The court case has revealed a tumultuous relationship between the two, with Momodu accusing Davido of abandonment and unfitness to care for their daughter.

Despite Davido’s claims of fulfilling his paternal responsibilities, Momodu has stated that he has not been faithful in paying school fees and has only visited their daughter for PR stunts.
