Billionaire Keji Giwa Reveals Why Men and Women of 50 and Above Are Eager To Get Divorced
Billionaire entrepreneur Keji Giwa has offered a candid perspective on why many men over 50 look forward to divorce, tying it to personal freedom and the pursuit of success.
According to Giwa, the challenges of spending a lifetime with another person often stem from misaligned goals rather than love itself. “Spending the rest of your life with another human is not easy unless you are synchronized and aligned with the same goals,” he explained.
He also emphasized that divorce excitement often reflects a regained sense of self. “I keep hearing from people that they are excited about being divorced. You had the freedom to just be yourself,” Giwa said. “The reality is, many people are too weak to do things on their own and instead blame others for not achieving their dreams.”
Giwa argued that success requires personal accountability and, sometimes, unapologetic selfishness. “Nobody held you by the neck. You convincingly said, ‘No, this is what I’m going to do,’ and at least you have been able to achieve what you want to do at the time you want to achieve it,” he said. “Put your hand up and say, I’m a selfish b@stard.”
