DęfíIemęnt of 8 year old boy and 4 years old girl by their uncle in Ekpan – Israel joe

Yesterday, we arrested one Miracle in Ekpan, for allegedly repeatedly having canal knowledge with his 8 years old nephew and 4 years old niece.

It was all disgusting when the said Miracle confessed to the crime at the Ekpan Police station, saying himself was abused and taught being h.o.m.osexual at Ekpan basic school in primary six.

The grandmother of the victims who is also the mother of the suspect kept backing the son up for what he did. She said at the point the Ekpan youths floged the son for doing that, he hasn’t repeated it.

I will drop two videos today on this. One would highlight the confession of the suspect and the other one would project the testimony from the 8 years old boy.

We are calling on the Delta State Government to take over those children immediately. Great thanks to the DPO Ekpan, CSP Shaba, a partner in justice.

Misconduct: Activist accuses CBB of covering up petition against Soludo, appointees

An activist and two-time governorship candidate in Anambra State, Dr. Ifeanyichukwu Okonkwo has accused the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) of trying to cover up his petition against Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo and three of his appointees, for alleged misconduct.

Okonkwo had in the petition dated April 14, 2025 accused Soludo and his affected appointees of receiving a donation of N30 million from 60 support groups, backing the governor for the forthcoming November 8 governorship election in the state.

Following the delayed commencement of investigation on the petition, Okonkwo threatened to go to court if the commission fails to act within two weeks.

He issued the threat in a terse statement released by his media office on Thursday.

Okonkwo said since his petition was delivered to the commission two months ago, no action has been taken on it, suggesting that something is amiss.

He said: “I have fears that there is a plan by the CCB to cover up this petition. I am by this statement, giving the Chairman of CCB two weeks to act on my petition. Failure to do so, I will initiate court action against the commission.”

Recall that on April 5, 2025, the support groups under the aegis of All Soludo Support Groups (ASSG) presented a dummy payment bank cheque of N30 million to Soludo, during the “APGA for Governor Charles Soludo’s second tenure rally” at the International Conference Centre Awka.

The money was meant to cover the governorship nomination fee of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) for Governor Soludo’s re-election ticket.

According to the donors, comprising political office holders, senatorial aspirants, government officials and other key stakeholders, this gesture showcased their commitment solidarity and trust in his leadership.

But in his petition dated April 14, 2025, Okonkwo accused Soludo, the Commissioner for Finance, Anambra state, Mr. Izuchukwu Okafor, Special Adviser on Political Matters, Dr. Obi Obiogbolu and Chukwuemeka Julius, the governor’s nominee and team leader of Soludo Fans Club, of breaching the mandatory provisions of the Code of Conduct for public officers under the Fifth Schedule of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).

The petitioner also accused the aforementioned public officers of fraudulent misrepresentation, money laundering and abuse of public trust.

In addition, he alleged that the action of the Governor and his appointees, violated their oaths of office as public officers, not to allow their personal interest to influence their conduct or official decisions, to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, and abide by the Code of Conduct for public officers, among other commitments.

He urged the bureau to urgently investigate the allegations against Governor Soludo and his appointees, to protect the integrity of governance in the country.

A copy of the petition, which was sighted by this reporter, read: “Complaint against Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo (Governor of Anambra State) (Public Officer) pursuant to paragraphs 1, 6 (1), 8, 9 & 13, Code of Conduct for Public Officers for committing:

“Acts prohibited by this Code by himself and through nominees, trustees or other agents in flagrant breach of the community reading of paragraphs 1, 6 (1), 8 and 9 “to wit:

“A public officer shall not put himself in a position where his personal interest conflicts with his duties and responsibilities.

“A public officer shall not ask for or accept property or benefits of any kind for himself or any other person, on account of anything done or omitted to be done by him in the discharge of his duties.

“No person shall offer a public officer any property, gift or benefit of any kind as an inducement or bribe for the granting of any favour or the discharge in his favour of the public officer’s duties.

“A public officer shall not do or direct to be done, in abuse of his office, any arbitrary act, prejudicial to the rights of any other person, knowing that knowing that such act is unlawful or contrary to any government policy.”

Traders’ chairman denies selling off doors of demolished shops in Aba market

The Chairman of Ekeoha-Aba Shopping Centre Traders Association, Emeka Okeke has denied recent allegations that some doors of demolished shops within the market were illegally sold off during the ongoing remodeling of the centre.

This was in response to allegations by some aggrieved traders that iron doors to their shops in the demolished section of the Ekeoha-Aba market were taken away or sold without their consent.

But Okeke clarified that every single door that was removed under his supervision was properly handled in accordance with due process, as directed by the government.

He emphasized that all removable fittings, particularly the shop doors, were meticulously documented and returned to their rightful owners, either directly to the shop owners or to their duly authorized representatives.

According to him, any doors that remained unaccounted for were likely taken away in haste by some shop owners or their tenants before the arrival of the official demolition task force.

He added that none of the doors removed by the task force was misplaced or sold illegally, as there was a dedicated team responsible for the collection, documentation, and return of the fittings.

Comrade Okeke also recalled that in a general town hall meeting of the market when the allegation first surfaced during the early stages of the demolition, the Chief Security Officer of the market, who was fingered in the alleged illegal sale, challenged anyone with evidence of his involvement to tender evidence.

Meanwhile, the Special Adviser to Abia State Governor on trade, commerce and industry, Nwaka Inem last week visited the traders of Ekeoha market to assure them that no order was given by Abia State government for a fresh demolition in the market.

Ogun: Ohanaeze demands justice for Igbo woman allegedly murdered over N1,500

The reported killing of an Igbo trader in Ogun State has attracted condemnation from the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide.

The group has therefore asked the Ogun State Government to ensure justice for the victim’s family.

It was alleged that the victim, a woman, Blessing Eze, was killed at Ifo Market, in Ogun State by a gang.

The armed group, said to be parading as government agents, were said to have stabbed Blessing on the chest, resulting in her death.

Sources said her offence was refusing to pay a N1,500 religious levy imposed on the traders at the market.

Reacting, the National President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike asked the Ogun State Government to provide clear details on what led to the death of the Igbo woman.

“We need to know why she was killed; who are those behind her gruesome murder?

“What has the government done to get justice for her? Have the perpetrators been arrested?

“The Ogun State government has to respond appropriately. Time has gone when Ndigbo are continuously treated as slaves in their own country.

“This gruesome murder of an innocent Igbo trader would not be condoned; we must fight until she gets justice,” Okwu vowed.

He also called on the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun to take over the investigation of the matter.

“We are urgently appealing to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun to take over the investigation of the matter.

“This is the only way to guarantee justice for the victim’s family,” Okwu stated.
