Director General and Chief Executive Officer of NESREA, Dr Innocent Barikor was today on a familiarisation visit to the National Assembly.
Dr. Barikor had an Executive Session with the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment, Senator Akintunde Yunus Abiodun, to discuss issues pertinent to the environment.
He also met with the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Environment, RT. Hon. Pondi Gbabojor and his Deputy , Hon. Terseer Ugbor.
The DG sought legislative support for his innovative plans aimed at boosting environmental sustainability in the country.
