“Don’t stay celibate, it ruined my dating life” — lady sparks debate with emotional confession
A lady has stirred heavy reactions online after sharing a deeply personal warning about celibacy and how it affected her relationships.
According to her, she chose to stay celibate for over a year after experiencing repeated heartbreaks and breakups, believing it would help her heal emotionally and grow spiritually. However, she now says the decision left her feeling disconnected, suspicious, and emotionally closed off in her dating life.
She explained that after the period of celibacy, she struggled to trust men, even when they appeared genuine. In her words, she constantly feels like men are trying to “use and dump” her, and she admits she no longer feels emotionally safe or open in relationships.
The lady also claimed that dating has become more difficult because, according to her experience, many people are unwilling to pursue a relationship without physical intimacy, which has left her stuck in cycles of talking stages and emotional confusion.

United States President Donald Trump said US forces conducted deadly strikes against Islamic State terrorists in northwestern Nigeria, and vowed more attacks if the militants keep killing Christians.
“I have previously warned these Terrorists that if they did not stop the slaughtering of Christians, there would be hell to pay, and tonight, there was,” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform, adding that “the Department of War executed numerous perfect strikes.”
Trump stated that the Department of War “executed numerous perfect strikes, as only the United States is capable of doing. Under my leadership, our Country will not allow Radical Islamic Terrorism to prosper.”
The US president wished everyone Merry Christmas, “including the dead Terrorists, of which there will be many more if their slaughter of Christians continues.”

Invictus Obi, jailed in US for $11m fraud, released from prison
Obinwanne Okeke, a Nigerian entrepreneur popularly known as Invictus Obi, who was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for fraud in the United States, has been released from prison.
Checks on the website of the US Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) show that Okeke was no longer in custody as of Wednesday, December 23, 2025.
The result indicates that Okeke was “Not in BOP Custody as of: 12/23/2025”.
In February 2021, Okeke was sentenced to a 10-year jail term over $11 million fraud after he pleaded guilty to the charges.
Based on the sentence, the Nigerian entrepreneur was due to leave prison custody on September 3, 2028.
However, TheCable cannot independently confirm the full details of Okeke’s sentencing as it is possible that he may have been issued some years of supervised release or other reprieve.
The assumption that the Nigerian entrepreneur would have been moved to a state prison appears not feasible as he was sentenced on federal crimes.
Okeke was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) at Dulles International Airport while leaving the US over $11 million internet fraud in 2019.
Okeke and others engaged in an email compromise scheme targeting Unatrac Holding Limited, the export sales office for Caterpillar heavy industrial and farm equipment.
In April 2018, a Unatrac executive fell prey to a phishing email that allowed conspirators to capture login credentials. The conspirators sent fraudulent wire transfer requests and attached fake invoices.
The Nigerian was once listed by Forbes as one of the 100 Most Influential Young Africans.
