ENUGU STATE GOVERNOR PETER MBAH HOLDS STRATEGIC FINAL MEETING AHEAD OF PLANNED MOVE TO APC
Ahead of his much-anticipated defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday), Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State convened a high-level meeting with his commissioners, senior aides, and key political associates at the Enugu State Government House. The closed-door session, described by insiders as a “strategic consolidation gathering,” reportedly focused on aligning interests and ensuring a smooth transition into the ruling party’s structure at both the state and national levels.
The forthcoming political shift had earlier been subtly revealed by the Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma. His earlier remarks at the expanded Stakeholders Meeting in Owerri hinted at Governor Mbah’s readiness to join forces with the APC, a move seen by observers as a major political realignment capable of reshaping the political dynamics in the South-East region.
