“Football is not simple. Everyone might say it is easy but it’s not” – Kelechi Iheanacho hints at struggling at his new club, Sevilla FC.

Published

on

Kelechi Iheanacho’s statement about football not being simple is quite relatable, especially considering his current situation at Sevilla FC.

The Nigerian striker has had a slow start since joining the LaLiga side on a free transfer this summer, making only two league appearances so far.

However, Sevilla’s manager, Garcia Pimienta, has expressed confidence in Iheanacho’s abilities, attributing his slow start to fatigue from international duty.

Iheanacho himself has also spoken about the challenges of adapting to a new team and environment, but he’s determined to give his all and help the team achieve great success.

It’s clear that Iheanacho is facing some challenges at Sevilla FC, but with the support of his manager and his own hard work, he’s likely to bounce back and make a significant impact on the team.

Transfer: Sancho makes final demand as Man United agree £17m fee

England winger, Jadon Sancho is on the verge of joining Juventus after a £17.3 million deal was agreed with Manchester United.

Man United have been looking to offload the England international this summer.

This comes after Chelsea recently rejected the opportunity to sign the 25-year-old player for £25 million and paid Man United a £5m penalty fee to send him back to Old Trafford.

Sancho had reached a verbal agreement with Napoli a few weeks ago but Antonio Conte’s side refused to meet the Red Devils’ £21.3m asking price for the player.

However, according to La Stampa, Juventus had a ‘positive’ meeting with the Premier League giants this week over a deal for Sancho and a £17.3 million package has been agreed between both parties.

The report added that Sancho has also agreed a contract with Juventus worth just over £5.2 million per season.

But Sancho and Man United haven’t agreed a severance package and the former Borussia Dortmund star is demanding a minimum of £4.3 million to leave Old Trafford.

It includes a €70m fee with bank guarantees for the installments which is now left for the Italian side to decide upon.

Meanwhile, Sporting CP striker, Viktor Gyökeres has continued with his strike in protest against the club.

The player, according to Romano, will not show up in training at Sporting again at any moment this summer.

“His decision is clear as reported during the week, he only wants Arsenal, it’s over with Sporting,” Romano wrote on X.

Gyökeres has also informed Sporting president about that 5 days ago that he wants to join the Premier League club.

In another development, Nottingham Forest have sent a complaint to the Premier League over Morgan Gibbs-White’s move to Tottenham.

Nottingham is working on potential legal action as they believe Spurs made an illegal approach to the player, as Sky Sports reported.
