Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), Senator Hope Uzodimma, has reaffirmed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) remains Nigeria’s most dependable and result-driven political party, steering the nation toward renewed economic strength and unity.

Governor Uzodimma made this assertion on Friday during a crucial stakeholders’ meeting of the APC held in Birnin Kebbi, the capital of Kebbi State. He lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for implementing far-reaching reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda, which, according to him, have set Nigeria on a path of sustainable growth and recovery.

The governor emphasized that the President’s bold economic initiatives — especially the removal of fuel subsidy — have substantially boosted revenue inflow across the federal, state, and local government levels, paving the way for better infrastructure and improved living conditions nationwide.

“President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope policies are rebuilding Nigeria’s foundation. The country is gradually regaining its wealth and productivity through well-structured reforms focused on reconstruction, rehabilitation, and inclusive development,” Uzodimma noted.

He also applauded the administration’s youth empowerment scheme aimed at training and supporting 1,000 young people in each of Nigeria’s 8,809 electoral wards, describing it as a visionary step toward tackling unemployment and eradicating poverty.

“In a few years, these empowered youths will transform into job creators, helping to reduce poverty and stimulate local economies,” he stated.

Governor Uzodimma commended party faithful for their loyalty and steadfast commitment to the APC’s vision, declaring that the growing influx of new members from other parties reflects the public’s confidence in the ruling party’s leadership.

“There is only one political party with the vision and capacity to transform Nigeria — and that party is the APC,” he declared confidently.

The event also had in attendance key political figures from Kebbi State, including Senators Adamu Aliero and Atiku Bagudu. Uzodimma praised their solidarity, describing it as a sign of maturity and unity within the APC family.

In his remarks, Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State described the meeting as both strategic and inspiring, reiterating his administration’s unwavering loyalty to President Tinubu and the APC.

“Kebbi remains a stronghold of the APC. We are fully committed to supporting President Tinubu’s agenda and bringing more development projects to our state,” he said.

He urged party members to remain focused and united as preparations begin ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The high-level gathering, which brought together leading stakeholders and political heavyweights, centered on strengthening the party’s internal cohesion, sustaining the momentum of President Tinubu’s reform programs, and widening the APC’s political influence across Nigeria.
