Governor Hope Uzodimma has reiterated his administration’s unwavering dedication to the responsible management of public resources, assuring that every project undertaken in Imo State is driven by the need to deliver real value and meaningful development to the people. He made this assertion after the Holy Eucharistic Mass held at the Government House Chapel, Owerri, in celebration of the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe.

Reflecting on the message from the day’s homily—which underscored the identity of believers as children of a King—the Governor noted that ndi Imo, as heirs of a greater kingdom, deserve nothing short of excellence. He emphasized that this conviction forms the basis for his administration’s continuing efforts to expand infrastructure and improve the living standards of citizens through impactful projects ranging from road construction to vital public facilities.

Governor Uzodimma highlighted ongoing investments in key sectors such as health, education, and social services, stressing that the aim is not only to address immediate needs but to strategically position Imo State for long-term economic relevance. According to him, each initiative reflects a deliberate commitment to upward growth and a brighter future for the people.

Looking ahead, the Governor expressed excitement about the upcoming Ahiajoku Lecture and the Imo Economic Summit—two landmark events expected to shape intellectual discourse and economic direction for the state. He encouraged Imo sons and daughters across the world to actively participate in these gatherings, describing them as important opportunities for collective engagement and progress.
