I don’t have anything to prove anymore – Ayra Starr boasts
Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, known professionally as Ayra Starr, has said she has nothing to prove anymore to fans in the music industry.
The Sabi Girl crooner explained that she now has only herself to prove to.
In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1xtra, London, the Grammy-nominated diva said her new mindset also influences the kind of music she now makes.
“I’m in a very comfortable place where I don’t see the need to prove myself to anybody other than myself.
“I released my song ‘Hot Body’ because I feel like this is the right time. I’m in the right headspace. I feel good. Right now, my body is better than I have ever felt.
“I didn’t just release it because it sounds good. Look what the hot body can do, that’s exactly how I feel,” she expressed.

Davido’s baby mama, Sophia Momodu, claps back at Snapchat user who accused her of flaunting a replica bag
Sophia Momodu has responded sharply after a Snapchat user tried to drag her over an alleged replica designer bag.
The user accused Sophia of “flaunting a replica” and warned her that this is an era where fake items are easily detected, advising her to stop “setting herself up for drags.”
Sophia was clearly not having it.
In a blunt response, she fired back, telling the user to “hold your chest and say God release me from witchcraft,” adding a sarcastic “you wish?” to shut down the allegation.

Jason Derulo vows never to be alone with female colleague over lawsuit
American singer Jason Derulo has announced that he will never again be alone in a room with a female colleague.
He said his decision stemmee from a nearly two-year sexual harassment lawsuit that has cost him millions despite being dismissed twice in other jurisdictions.
In an interview with Graham Bensinger, Derulo said, “I will never be alone in a room with a woman that I work with… ever, ever again. That case was dismissed twice. And I lost so many brand deals, relationships off of a story that was not even slightly believable. Why didn’t they post the dismissal at least? Wouldn’t that be fair?”
The interview came as aspiring singer Emaza Dilan has refiled her sexual harassment lawsuit against Derulo in New York, after similar claims were dismissed on procedural grounds in California and Nevada.
Although no court has yet ruled on the substance of the allegations, Derulo said the lingering accusations have already cost him major brand partnerships and prompted him to fundamentally change how he interacts with women in professional settings.
