“I don’t sing about the pröblems in my country, Nigeria because at the end of the day, it’s all noîse and it won’t change anything. I just want young people to look at my success and work to achieve more than me.” Wizkid

“I had this conversation with my friend the other day in the studio and I was like we can talk about how cräzy and bäd the country is from A to Z, but that’s not gonna change anything.

The most amazing thing you can do is empower the youths and focus more on bringing change than talking about it.

And in ways that you don’t even understand, like me being successful empowers others because they believed if I can do it, they can. Like coming from a pôôr family in Ojuelegba and I’ve gone through years of immense hardwork and I’m here now.

I would love for the young youths and people in Nigeria to see that nothing is impossible. You can take it above and beyond.” Wizkid

Instead of complaining, take action because no matter how much you talk, it won’t change anything but it will all end on social media

Popular Nigerian music video director, TG Omori has shared some insights into his journey as a cinematographer.

He revealed that he only started making profits from shooting music videos in 2023 despite being one of the most sought-after directors in the country years before then.

He further revealed that he was in a bad production debt for five years and was only able to pay it off through money he made from his brand.

The music video director disclosed this during an interactive session with fans on X on Tuesday.

A fan asked, “How do you know how much the entire production would cost and still properly infuse your own profit so as not to undercharge or overcharge?”

He replied, “I only started making profits in 2023. Every time I’m losing money from pick up shoots or something! Budget is never enough, in fact I was in bad production debt for 5years. Just had to live with it, I was paying up and taking more to cover up. I was only able to pay it off through money my brand and personality was fetching me. It’s a though life for creatives. Hug a creative beside you today.”

Ekwutosblog recalls that in 2023, Davido revealed in an interview with Beats FM Lagos that he paid TG Omori a whooping N100 million to shoot the video of his hit song, ‘Jowo.’

Omori later confirmed the payment in a social media post.

Angela Okorie clearly thought she found Regina’s weak spot. But what she doesn’t realize is that Regina is now at home with that line. Years of social media noise have toughened her skin. That card might have worked on a less grounded woman, but not Regina. Instead of hitting a nerve, Angela only exposed her own lack of strategy.

Let’s be honest – if it was really about “respect” or “the industry,” that’s where the conversation should’ve stayed. But the moment she started dragging Ned Nwoko into the mix, it became obvious: this wasn’t about principle. It was about ego. That kind of behavior doesn’t elevate the conversation. It drags it into the mud.

It’s one thing to call someone out. It’s another thing entirely to veer off and start attacking their family or people who aren’t involved. That’s not strength, it’s bitterness shouting through a megaphone.

If you’ve ever dealt with someone who can’t argue without going low, you know how exhausting it is. They don’t seek understanding. They seek domination – even if it means reaching into places that were never part of the issue. And in the end, they only make a spectacle of themselves.

Angela obviously knows Regina has what many only dream of. But she seems to think she (Angela) still holds something that can rattle the “little girl” whenever there is a clash. The truth? That ‘something’ moved a long time ago. And in this whole drama, it’s clear who’s doing all the shouting.

Let’s normalize ending arguments at the point they stop being constructive. You can disagree. You can confront. But do it without involving someone’s family or dragging up their past. Because when that happens, the issue stops being about them – and becomes all about you.
