During a recent sermon, Apostle Johnson Suleman, founder of Omega Fire Ministries International, voiced strong concerns about the growing trend of negative storytelling in Nigeria.
He expressed deep frustration over how quickly the country spreads bad news, especially when it involves religious figures, while overlooking the acts of good being done in silence. He said,
“A Pastor says something wrong – it trends everywhere as if they are celebrating the nonsense that the pastor said.” He questioned why such energy and speed are not used when something good is done. “But I feed 2,000 people for the past 3 years, nobody said anything,” he said, clearly disheartened by the public’s silence”
According to him, until Nigerians begin to actively promote and celebrate positive actions and content, the country will remain stagnant in its development.
