The purpose of the meeting, according to the Command’s Spokesperson, DSP Henry Okoye, was to address rising security concerns in the Council area also to focus on strengthening partnerships, boosting community vigilance, and fostering lasting peace.
The meeting, according to Okoye, gave stakeholders an opportunity to share ideas and propose practical solutions to improve security in Oguta.
The chairman of the LGA, Nnani, pledged to increase local government support, including logistics and strategic coordination, to safeguard the area.
Nwosu, in his speech, emphasised the importance of grassroots vigilance and early warning signals.
He urged residents to report suspicious persons immediately to security agencies, noting that internal compromise often gives room for external threats.
The representatives of the most affected Community, Agwa Central Union highlighted the negative impact of the recent attack on their people, noting the psychological and economic toll.
They, along with others, also raised concerns over rising banditry and called for sustained operations, including regular forest patrols to flush out criminal elements.

He reaffirmed the Command’s resolve to dismantle criminal networks and rebuild public confidence.
The CP. Danjuma further encouraged residents to take ownership of their security by working closely with law enforcement agencies, adding that mutual trust, timely information-sharing, and sustained community engagement are essential for achieving lasting peace in the area.
The Commissioner maintained that the command remains committed to working with all stakeholders to make Oguta a safer and more peaceful place for everyone.
