IMO POLICE LAUNCH SEARCH FOR MISSING YOUNG MAN, OBIOMA SOROIBE.

The Imo State Police Command has announced the disappearance of a young man, Mr. Obioma Soroibe, and has appealed to the public for assistance in locating him.

According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Henry Okoye, Mr. Soroibe, aged 20, left his residence at No. 5 Rockview Street, Owerri, on Friday, October 24, 2025, and has not been seen since. His destination at the time of departure remains unknown.

Mr. Soroibe is described as being of fair complexion, about 5 feet tall, with no tribal marks. He communicates fluently in both English and Igbo languages. While he reportedly has a mental health challenge, the police confirmed that he is still able to communicate his thoughts and needs clearly.

DSP Okoye urged members of the public who may have any useful information about his whereabouts to immediately contact the nearest police station, particularly Shell Camp Police Station, or reach out to the Police Public Relations Office.

The Imo State Police Command assured the public of its commitment to locating the missing young man and ensuring his safe return to his family.
