Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Finalize Divorce Settlement

American actors Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have reportedly reached a divorce settlement, five months after announcing their separation. The former couple, who tied the knot in 2022, will officially dissolve their marriage on February 20.

According to sources, Lopez, 55, and Affleck, 52, have agreed to divide their assets, with each party retaining their individual acquisitions during their brief union. The terms of their agreement regarding their $61 million Beverly Hills mansion will remain private.

The couple’s cumulative wealth is estimated to be $550 million, with Lopez’s assets accounting for $400 million. Notably, they did not have a prenuptial agreement in place.

Lopez filed for divorce on the two-year anniversary of their Georgia wedding, listing their separation date as April 26, 2024. Affleck will retain his stake in his production company, Artists Equity.

The divorce settlement, mediated by celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, also reveals that Lopez will revert to her maiden name, Jennifer Lynn Lopez.

Despite their divorce, Affleck and Lopez have reportedly maintained an amicable relationship, with intentions to remain in each other’s lives for the sake of their children.
