Just In: Cross River State Fresh Appointments

PRESS RELEASE

Sequel to the recently released list of media appointees dated July 10, 2025, and signed by Mr. Linus Obogo, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, His Excellency, Prince Bassey Edet Otu, the Executive Governor of Cross River State, has directed that the said list be stepped down for further review. In the same vein, the Governor has affirmed the promotion of the following media appointees as earlier announced.

1. Ms. Imani Odey – Special Adviser, Electronic Media

2. Mr. Andrea Ekeng Inyang – Senior Special Assistant, New Media

3. Mr. Nathaniel Otaba – Senior Special Assistant, Communication

4. Mr. Oqua Etim – Special Assistant, ICT

5. Mr. Daniel Williams – Special Assistant, Photography

6. Mr. Godswill Ekpe – Special Assistant, Cinematography

Meanwhile, His Excellency, Governor Bassey Edet Otu has approved the appointment of the following media aides:

1. Ms. Akpala Beatrice – Special Adviser – Content Development and Archiving

2. Mr. Friday Awade, Senior Special Assistant, Media Advocacy

3. Ms. Phylo Modlin Odu – Senior Special Assistant-Tactical Media Research and engagement

4. Mr. Saviour Asuquo, Special Assistant, Content Development.

5. Ms. Antan Okor – Special Assistant, Public Orientation

6. Mr. Akam Victor, Special Assistant, Public Affairs

7. Mr. Eval Asikong – Senior Special Assistant, Strategic Communications

8. Ms. Thelma Plethora Benson – Senior Special Assistant, Broadcast media

9. Ms. Queen-Esther Bassey – Special Assistant, Media Planning and Documentation
