Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State honoured Coach Justine Madugu of the Super Falcons with a three-bedroom bungalow and a cash reward of fifty million naira for leading the Nigerian women’s national football team to victory at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
Coach Madugu, from Numan Local Government Area, received a warm welcome at the Government House in Yola.
Governor Fintiri praised his patriotism, tactical intelligence, and leadership, noting that Nigeria won the WAFCON title for a record 10th time under his guidance.
