The Commissioner of Environment and Natural Resources in Nasarawa State, Princess Margaret Itake Elayo, was a featured guest on NBS Radio’s live programme, “Issues of the Moment”. This engaging broadcast was part of the ministry’s activities in anticipation of World Environment Day, celebrated annually on June 5th.
During the programme, the Commissioner stressed the significance of World Environment Day, especially for the residents of Nasarawa State. She shared her insights on the crucial role each individual can play in safeguarding the ecosystem and protecting our planet.
