Man reacts to picture showing Governor Alex Otti and a Lady Stating that it’s a blackmail.

Governor Alex Otti

THIS DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING, I DON’T SUPPORT BLACKMAIL!

Can I please make this clarification. This picture here does not mean anything. It does not imply or show that there is something beyond a normal relationship between Governor Otti and the lady.

Governor Alex Otti

She may be his former staff, friend or someone he knows from way back. She may be a friend’s wife. They were also not in a compromising position, and they were not in a hotel room or on a bed. It does not mean that they have a sexual relationship. Governor Otti has had a very long career, and must have friends, both male and female.

Having said the above, this serves as a lesson to anyone who tries to tarnish the reputation of a fellow man using things like drinks or women. Always use facts, avoid sentiments. I stick to facts and figures.

I have listened to Governor Alex C. Otti say very negative things about Ikpeazu using Abia’s funds for expensive drinks and women. I felt that was too low of him. I hope he learns from this.

Let’s stop the blackmail.
I repeat this image does not mean anything.

I also want to state that Governor Otti has been under pressure for a long time, from electioneering, litigation, to his 11 months in power. It has been more than a marathon for him. Having a few drinks with friends does not make him a bad leader. He is human. He may also not be drinking alcohol.

The video also shows that not everyone around you is your friend or lover. Your follower may not be your fan.

It could be you or me tomorrow. I have been in his shoes, I know how he feels.

Let’s be guided.
Let’s put a stop to the blackmail.
Let’s also consider his wife and kids.
All our actions have consequences.

Truck crushes pedestrian to death, damages five vehicles in Kwara

A commercial truck reportedly suffered brake failure and crushed a pedestrian to death at the Offa Garage Roundabout in Ilorin, Kwara State.

It was gathered that the accident happened around 8:00 a.m. on Friday along the Ilorin–Ajase Ipo highway.

The fatal crash involved a Mitsubishi Canter truck with registration number SMK 801 XT, loaded with gallons of palm oil. Witnesses said the truck veered off the road and rammed into the AP Filling Station located near the roundabout, spilling its contents and causing significant damage.

The impact of the crash uprooted one of the fuel pumps and severely damaged another. Two males sustained injuries, while five vehicles were also wrecked in the chaos.

The truck, painted blue and green, reportedly lost control due to brake failure while in motion. The driver, identified as Nasiru, managed to escape unscathed.

Officials from the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, were present at the scene, but deferred official commentary to the Kwara State Road Traffic Management Authority, KWARTMA.

Confirming the incident, KWARTMA’s Public Relations Officer, Gani Olawoye, said the deceased had been evacuated and the damaged vehicles were taken to the agency’s office. He noted that the injured victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Olawoye added that the agency’s Acting General Manager, Engr Michael Bamidele, had called for increased vigilance and urged motorists, especially truck operators, to ensure their vehicles are properly maintained to prevent such accidents.

“As a preventive measure, all beggars around the Offa Garage axis have also been directed to vacate the area,” Olawoye said.

Loyalty, love, and sacrifice—we just lost one of our finest. And it cuts deeper when he’s not just a soldier, but also a brother.

Emotions ran wild as a heartbreaking video surfaced online showing two Nigerian soldiers mourning their fallen brother, who died while serving the nation. What makes the pain even deeper?

All three of them are from the same mother a woman who gave three sons to the Nigerian Army.

In the video, the soldiers could barely hold back tears as they paid last respect. One said:
“Our brother didn’t die in vain. He died serving Nigeria.”

This isn’t just about duty—this is blood, sacrifice, and the harsh price some families pay for national service.

Nigerians online have been left speechless. Some are calling their mother “a woman of steel”, others say “she deserves national honour.” One son down, two still standing—for the country, for the flag.

Moral Lesson: Behind every uniform is a family. Behind every salute is a story of sacrifice. Let’s not forget those who give their all—even their blood—for our peace.
