Here’s the latest update on the situation.
Following police intervention, a tragic discovery was made in an apartment where a man and woman were found deceased.
The woman, identified as Mirian, has had her partner’s identity confirmed, he is her former boyfriend.
Preliminary investigations reveal that Mirian suffered a knife wound and showed signs of strangulation.
The cause of the man’s death remains unknown and is currently under examination.
Autopsies for both individuals are scheduled for next week, and we expect the results to provide more clarity regarding their deaths.
Reports indicate that Mirian had been in a long-distance relationship with a man in the UK for several years, but for reasons known only to them, she traveled to Nigeria for an engagement with another person, from which she had just returned.
Last week was her birthday, and it’s possible that her boyfriend from the UK visited her to celebrate.
