Melania Trump Honored as ‘Patriot of the Year’ by Fox Nation

Melania Trump, 55 years old, the wife of U.S. President Donald Trump, who is originally from Slovenia, received the ‘Patriot of the Year’ award presented by local media.

On the 6th, ‘Fox Nation,’ a subsidiary of conservative-leaning Fox News, held a ceremony at the New York Greenbriar Tilles Performing Arts Center and awarded Melania the ‘Patriot of the Year’ award.

Fox Nation explained the selection criteria, stating the award honors heroes and patriots who demonstrate unwavering dedication to the values that make America great, and noted, “Mrs. Trump has engaged in international activities advocating for children’s rights.”

At the ceremony, Mrs. Trump said, “We must praise all those who think creatively,” adding, “Because these brave Americans are the heartbeat of our civilization.”

Mrs. Trump stated, “Innovation never occurs by accident; it is already embedded in the DNA of us Americans,” and added, “Innovation is a form of patriotism.”

Mrs. Trump was born in 1970 in Slovenia, Eastern Europe. After debuting as a model in her teenage years, she began working in the United States in 1995. She later met President Trump in the U.S. and married him in 2005. Mrs. Trump acquired U.S. citizenship in 2006, shortly after her marriage to President Trump.

Meanwhile, President Trump received the Patriot of the Year award last December.
