Nollywood actress and media personality Dorcas Shola Fapson (Ms DSF) has clarified her earlier statement regarding Toke Makinwa’s alleged secret marriage to longtime partner Farouk Umar, labeling it a lighthearted jest.
Following viral photos of the couple at Makinwa’s “thanksgiving” ceremony, rumors swirled that the duo had tied the knot. Ms DSF’s social media hint further fueled the speculation.
However, in a video message, Ms DSF debunked the reports, stating, “Bloggers, I was just joking! Toke and Farouk aren’t getting married; she’s simply celebrating her birthday with a thanksgiving.”
Ms DSF captioned the video, “I play too much, and bloggers eat up gossip too quickly!”
Toke Makinwa, previously married to businessman Maje Ayida from 2014 to 2017, remains unmarried.
