Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Plant in Nnewi, Anambra State

New Plant Construction: Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd (IVM) has constructed a new multi-billion naira plant in Nnewi, Anambra State, to manufacture Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses and heavy-duty trucks.

Production Capacity: The new plant has the capacity to produce 30,000 vehicles annually and is expected to be commissioned soon.

CNG Vehicles: IVM has been manufacturing CNG vehicles since 2022 and has expanded its product line to include medium, city, and inter-city buses, sport utility vehicles (SUVs), family vehicles, purpose-built 4×4 pick-ups, military vehicles, and specialized vehicles like ambulances and fire trucks

Existing Plant: IVM’s existing plant in Nnewi has been operational for over 13 years and has produced various vehicles, including mini buses, pick-ups, sedans, SUVs, family vehicles, fire trucks, city, and inter-city buses

Expansion and Upgrades: IVM has upgraded its factory operations from manual production to semi-automation and then to standard automation, increasing its production capacity from 10,000 vehicles to 60,000 vehicles per annum
