Goldie who was one of the sought-after singers in Nigeria d!ed on February 14, 2013.

Sharing a video from his visit to her gravesite via his Instagram page, Denrele wrote

‘’Today isn’t just Valentine’s Day.

It’s GOLDIE Day.

Thirteen years ago, Heaven gained a headliner and we lost a hurricane in Heels.

But Legends don’t die — they echo.

Every February 14th, while the world is drowning in roses and romance, I visit you with a wreath…..

and with words.

Because LOVE isn’t only for the living.

Love is memory.

Love is loyalty.

Love is saying your name out loud so it never fades.

GOLDIE!

You were glitter before glitter became a filter.

You were fearless before “soft life” became a hashtag.

You were Theatre.

You were colour.

You were audacity wrapped in melody.

I dropped flowers on your tomb today, but what I really dropped was gratitude.

For the music.

For the madness.

For the magic.

They tried to move on.

But I refuse to let your name become past tense.

So here’s my annual reminder to the world:

Stream her songs.

SAY HER NAME

Celebrate her light.

Because some stars don’t set…

They just change stages.

Forever your friend. Forever your megaphone.

P.S:

Heaven may have booked you for Eternity,

but Earth still dances to your Rhythm.

CONTINUE TO REST IN POWER, BIMPE SUSAN *GOLDIE* HARVEY’’

The bride was dancing with her groom on the dance floor, while the bride’s ashoebi girls picked the money guests sprayed the couple.

A woman, said to be the groom’s mother, is soon seen dragging with one of the young women who make up the ashoebi. It appears they were fighting over money sprayed on the couple.

It took the intervention of the MC and another young man to pull the mother-in-law off the ashoebi woman.
