The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Benjamin Hundeyin, has responded to a viral video showing a police officer allegedly asking a German traveler, Clement, for money while he was in transit.
Clement who is heading to South Africa by road, passed through some checkpoints in Nigeria.
In a video recording, Clement showed how many of the police officers he came across greeted him warmly and asked him to continue his journey.
Some even offered him prayers when they came in contact with him. However, one of the officers who he encountered at one of the checkpoints spoilt the trail when he asked Clement to give him money.
‘’Give me dollars. We want to buy fuel’. You are to give us money. We are providing service, safety on the road.’ the officer asked
Clement immediately informed him that the government pays him salary and so he shouldn’t be asking him for money.

Reacting to the trending video, Hundeyin praised the other officers who were professional and did not ask for money and went on to point out that there will always be one judas who will misrepresent a group.

Three men have been arrested in Algeria after allegedly attempting to enter Spain in a failed disguise attempt that has since sparked reactions online.
According to reports, the men were trying to cross the border illegally by hiding inside a truck transporting livestock.
In a bid to avoid detection, they allegedly dressed up in sheep costumes and blended in with the real animals on board. The plan, however, did not go as expected.

During a routine inspection, border officials reportedly noticed that some of the “sheep” were behaving strangely.
Authorities observed that a few of the animals appeared to be walking upright on two legs and had visible human features.
Suspicious of the odd movement, officers carried out a closer check and discovered that three of the sheep were actually men in disguise.
They were immediately pulled out of the truck and arrested.
The suspects are now reportedly in custody and facing charges linked to immigration fraud.
Reports also claim they could face additional allegations of animal cruelty after allegedly stepping on and disturbing the livestock while attempting to blend in.
The unusual attempt has drawn widespread reactions on social media.
